Add a Customer

This guide will help you to add a customer to Expandly. You will need to do this if you want to create a manual sales order. This guide will also help you to edit and delete customer details.

1. Click on Add Customer.

Customer Details

Required Fields

2. Enter the Customer Name.

Optional Fields

  • Enter a Description.
  • Enter a Phone number.
  • Enter a Fax number.
  • Enter an Email address.
  • Enter a Website.

 

Address Details

Required Fields

3. Enter the Customer Name.

4. Select the Address Type from the drop-down menu. You can add multiple addresses for your customer once you have created your customer profile.

5. Enter the first line of the customer’s Address.

Optional Fields

  • Enter a Business Name.
  • Enter an Email address.
  • Enter a Phone number. 
  • Enter the second line of the customer’s Address.
  • Enter a City.
  • Select a Country from the drop-down menu. This will allow you to select a State.
  • Select a State from the drop-down menu.
  • Enter the postcode in the Zip Code field.
  • Enter a Region.

6. Click on Save at the bottom of the screen. You should now see your new customer on the Manage Customers page.

7. If you wish to change a customer’s details or add another address, click on the edit icon in the Action column.

8. Enter any changes to the available Customer Details fields.

9. To edit an existing address, click on the edit icon in the Action column. 

10. Enter any changes to the available Address fields.

11. Click Save to return to the previous screen.

12. To add another address, click on Add Address at the bottom of the screen.

Required Fields

13. Enter the Customer Name.

14. Select the Address Type from the drop-down menu. You can add multiple addresses for your Customer.

15. Enter the first line of the customer’s Address.

  • Enter a Business Name.
  • Enter an Email address.
  • Enter a Phone number. 
  • Enter the second line of the customer’s Address.
  • Enter a City.
  • Select a Country from the drop-down menu. This will allow you to select a State.
  • Select a State from the drop-down menu.
  • Enter the postcode in the Zip Code field. 
  • Enter a Region.

 

16. Click Add at the bottom of the screen to add the address to the customer's profile. This will take you back to the previous screen.

17. If you want to delete an address, click on the red bin icon in the Action column. 

18. Click Save at the top of the customer screen to save any changes you have made.

You can now add, edit and delete a customer’s details in Expandly.
