Overview

On Expandly, you are able to sync, and map, your Xero Tracking Categories (if added), to automatically assign orders to the correct category and sub category in Xero. In this guide we will show you how to do this.

Before you start

Before setting up Xero tracking categories in Expandly, you will need to connect your Xero account with Expandly. Click here for instructions. 

You will also be required to add the Tracking Categories to Xero . To do this, log in to your Xero account and click Accounting > Advanced > Tracking Categories. On the Tracking Categories page, click Add Tracking Category and give you Tracking Category a Name and sub-categories. Once finished, click Save:

Steps

1. On the Configure Xero page (Settings>Xero), head to the Tracking Categories section (bottom left)

2. Click mceclip1.png to import your Xero Tracking Categories and then select the Expandly field to map to

3. Once finished, click mceclip3.png (top right of the section).
