Overview

Manually create sales orders, or import them via CSV, in Expandly.

Steps

Before manually adding orders to Expandly, you'll need to:

- Create the customer

Map order statuses (for shopping carts)

For detailed instruction on how, click the links above

1. Click Sales Orders (left menu) and then Manage Sales Order

2. On the Manage Sales Orders page, click Create Order and select Manual Order

3. Select the Customer by searching for their name - once selected their details should be automatically populated

4. Complete the Item Details information, clicking Add More Items if necessary

Note, if you would like stock deducted from Expandly, select yes under Allocate Stock

5. Complete the Order Summary details

6. Click Create (bottom left) once finished

1. Click Sales Orders (left menu) and then Manage Sales Order

2. On the Manage Sales Orders page, click Create Order and select Upload via CSV

3. On the Upload Orders via CSV page, download a sample CSV file by clicking the Sample File button (top right) Expandly_-_Sample_file.png or download here

4. Open the downloaded file into Excel (or any other spreadsheet software)

The spreadsheet contains example sales orders, highlighting which fields must be completed

5. Complete the relevant information for your orders and save the file to your computer

6. On the Upload Orders via CSV page, click Browse to upload your saved spreadsheet - once the orders have finished downloading, they will appear on the Manage Sales Orders page
