Overview

In this guide, we will explain how to add, edit and delete customers in Expandly. 

Adding a new customer manually

1. Click Sales Orders (left menu) and then click Customers:

2. On your Manage Customers page, click mceclip3.png (top right) and then from the drop down, select 'Add Manually'

3. On the Add Customer page, fill in Customer and Address Details and once done, click mceclip5.png:

Adding customers via CSV

1. Click Sales Orders (left menu) and then click Customers

2. On your Manage Customers page, click mceclip3.png (top right) and then from the drop down, select 'Upload via CSV'

3. On the Upload Customer via CSV page, click mceclip6.png to download the sample CSV file

4. Open the downloaded file into Excel (or any other spreadsheet software),complete the relevant information for you customer(s) and once done, save the file to your computer

Please Note: The sample file will contain example customers, highlighting which fields must be completed in order to successfully create the customer(s)

5. Once you have completed and saved the CSV customer spreadsheet file, return to your Upload Customer via CSV page in Expandly and either drag and drop your spreadsheet into the Drop Zone or manually select the file by clicking 'Choose File':

6. Click mceclip8.png to upload the file into Expandly

Editing Customers

1. Click Sales Orders (left menu) and then click Customers

2. On your Manage Customers page, find the customer you want to edit

3. Click the edit icon mceclip9.png

4. Make the required changes to the customer and once done click mceclip10.png

Deleting Customers

1. Click Sales Orders (left menu) and then click Customers

2. On your Manage Customers page, find the customer you want to delete

3. Click the delete icon mceclip11.png to remove the customer from Expandly
