I have received my EU/UK Label Compliance Report - What's next?

Overview

Once our Compliance Team have completed your label review, you will be issued with a Label Compliance Report. This will be available to view and download via your Product Label Review page, on your Expandly Portal.

How do I download my Label Compliance Report?

1. Log into your Expandly Portal
2. Click Compliance>Product Label Review:
3. On your Manage Product Label Review page, for any Completed records, you can download you report by clicking the  icon, within the Label column.

What will this report show?

As part of the label review process, our Compliance Team will check your label against the most current and up to date regulations, in collaboration with major seller networks and our professional interpretation.
Where possible, we will have included specific guidance on each member state where they implement their own rules and interpretations of the regulations. If no specific legislation is identified your product will fall under the General Product Safety Regulations 2023.

What are the next steps?

  1. Once your report is available, we recommend reading this thoroughly to understand the feedback that is issued, and changes that will be required in order to make your label compliant.
  1. The label is reviewed for compliance required content and to ensure the product is sellable across 27 members states and the UK. At the time of review we may not know which countries you are intending to sell in, so the recycling logos and translations ARE NOT reviewed or commented on.
  2. There is some introductory guidance on logos and translations in the report which will give you and idea on what is needed. After the review once we have determined this, we will provide full guidance on everything you need
  3. Additionally, instructions are a separate paid service and also not reviewed during the label reviews
  4. Please refer to the last page in the report, which will highlight the next steps and provide guidance on Translations, Logos and Font Size & Recycling and Package Waste.
