Overview
In this guide, we’ll show you how to import existing listings from your sales channels—such as eBay, Amazon, or Shopify—into Expandly.
Please Note: Listings do not automatically import into Expandly when you connect a sales channel. While orders do begin automatically fetching and appear in your Sales Orders page, listings must be imported via a manual request for products to be created within your Expandly portal.
Before you start
Before importing your listings, make sure you have:
-
Added your Sales Channels to your Expandly account.
-
Checked your merge settings, as these determine how listings will be imported and merged.
Merge Settings Options
-
SKU and/or Title: Listings with matching SKUs and/or titles across channels will automatically merge into a single product in Expandly.
-
SKU Only: Listings with matching SKUs will merge automatically.
-
Title Only: Listings with matching titles will merge automatically.
-
Do Not Merge: Listings will not merge, even if SKUs or titles match; each listing will become a separate product.
Tip: If you want listings to merge automatically, ensure that SKUs match across your sales channels before importing.
Importing your existing listings into Expandly
1. Click Products & Listings (from the LH side Navigation Pane) and under the sales channel you want to import from, click Manage Listings

2. On the Manage Listings page, click Import Listings (top right)
3. In the Import Listings popup, select:
Account
Country
From and To Dates (must cover when listings were first created on the sales channel)
Active Listings Only (auto-selected; untick if you want to import inactive listings)
Important: Make sure your date range goes far enough back to include all listings you want imported.
4. Expandly will start fetching your listings.
- Allow up to 30 minutes for the import to complete.
- For high-volume imports or certain channels, it may take slightly longer.
5. Once completed, listings will appear on your Manage Listings and Manage Products pages.
