Merging Sales Orders

Overview

In this guide, we will show you how to merge your Sales Orders, using Expandly.

Merging Sales Orders

1. Click Sales Orders (left menu) and then click Manage Sales Orders:

2. On your Manage Sales Orders page, find the orders that you wish to merge using the filters or search bar and select using the tick box:

3. Click (top right) and from the drop-down, select

4. On the Merge Orders pop-up, select the order which you wish to make the primary order and then click :

5. On the Edit Order page, make any additional changes to the sales order and then click to complete the merge:

Please Note: Product, quantity and price adjustments will automatically combine based on the orders you have selected to merge into the primary order so these changes do not need to be made/edited manually.

Viewing Merged Sales Orders

1. Click Sales Orders (left menu) and then click Manage Sales Orders

2. From the Filters drop-down, select the  option and then click :

3. This will then return the Primary Sales Order Number detail of any previously merged orders. You can then apply additional filters or use the search bar provided to further refine your search if required

4. Click on the Order Number hyperlink, or click 'Actions'>Edit Details to open the Edit Order page

5. On the Edit Order page, this will show you the Primary Sales Order details however you can still view the order(s) that are merged into this by scrolling to the bottom of the page:

Please Note: You are still able to Edit order numbers which have been merged by clicking on the  edit icon. This will not have an affect on the Primary Sales Order Number but may be useful should you wish to add Order Notes for example, to a merged order and keep this separate from the primary order. 

Un-Merging Sales Orders

1. Click Sales Orders (left menu) and then click Manage Sales Orders

2. From the Filters drop-down, select the  option and then click :

3. This will then return the Primary Sales Order Number detail of any previously merged orders. You can then apply additional filters or use the search bar provided to further refine your search if required

4. Click on the Order Number hyperlink, or click 'Actions'>Edit Details to open the Edit Order page

5. On the Edit Order page, scroll to view the Merged Orders details

6. Find the sales order you wish to un-merge and then click the delete icon  

7. Click (top right) to complete the un-merge process and this will then reshow the order on your Manage Sales Orders page and this will no longer be merged to the sales order, previously made the Primary Order.
