Copying Sales Orders

Overview

In this guide, we will show you how to copy sales orders on Expandly.

Before you start

Before you can copy sales orders on Expandly, you will need to create a custom store, for these to be assigned to. You can read more information on how to do this, in this guide:

Copying Sales Orders

1. Click Sales Orders (left menu) and then click Manage Sales Orders:

2. On your Manage Sales Orders page, find the order number you wish to copy by using the search bar or filters and then click :

3. Once sales order number details are returned, tick the order (left hand side) and then from the Actions drop-down, select the option:

4. On the Create Order page, all details from the sales order you have copied will appear. The order number associated will show the original order number details, followed by (Copy) to allow you to easily identify any copied orders. The Order Source will also be auto-selected to the Custom Store created on your Expandly account and the Order Date will show the date that the copied order is being created, rather than the Order Date of the original order:

5. On the Create Order page, add/edit order details if required for the order you are creating as a copy and once done click (top right):

6. Once you have saved the order, you will be returned the the Manage Sales Order page.

Viewing Copied Sales Orders

1. Click Sales Orders (left menu) and then click Manage Sales Orders:

2. On your Manage Sales Orders page, you can find copied sales orders  by using the search bar or filters. All copied orders will be followed by (Copy) so this can be entered in the Search field, and any Copied Orders which have been created on the account, will be returned:

Editing Copied Sales Orders

1. Click Sales Orders (left menu) and then click Manage Sales Orders

2. On your Manage Sales Orders page, you can find copied sales orders  by using the search bar or filters. All copied orders will be followed by (Copy) so this can be entered in the Search field, and any Copied Orders which have been created on the account, will be returned

3. Once you have located the order number, you can either click on the Order Number hyperlink or alternatively from the Actions drop-down, select :

4. On the Edit Order page, make any changes required and once done, click (top right):
