VAT - Completing the French (FR) POA form

Overview

In this guide, we will explain how to correctly complete the Power of Attorney (POA) required in order to proceed with your French (FR) VAT application.

Completing the FR POA

1. Expandly will send a copy of the POA once all required documentation has been received and your French VAT application is in progress with the tax authorities.
This will be issued via email. Below is an example of what the POA will look like:

2. Please complete the following:
- Sign only where the signature is required, as highlighted in the screenshot below with a red cross.

Important Notes

  1. This must be hand signed - digitally signed copies will not be accepted 

  • The date field must remain blank, as we will insert the submission date in accordance with the requirements of the French tax authorities.

  • Please also leave the signature space at the bottom of the document blank, as this section must be completed by the authorities:

3. Once complete, please return the signed POA to Expandly, and we will forward it to the French authorities on your behalf.
