How to complete the POA
1. Once all documents required to proceed with your ES VAT application have been submitted, the On Boarding Team will be issued with a POA, which you will need to complete. This will be shared with you via email, once the Expandly Team have received the document.
2. Download the POA and fill in your Company Information, within the blue sections, on pages 1,2,4 & 5
Please Note:
- the left and the right side of the form, must both be completed, within the blue section only
- the green section must not be filled in - this should be left blank for the notary to complete
- the document should remain unsigned at this stage
3. Once the blue section has been completed, this will need to be returned to Expandly via
email for us to review and approve
Please see an example of what the POA will look like:

4. Once the POA is approved, Expandly will be in touch, and you must choose a notary to complete the green section of the POA
Please Note: To ensure accurate completion of this section, we would highly recommend using our pre-approved partner, to avoid this being completed incorrectly, which will result in delays in obtaining your VAT number - please see details below, where you can choose a notary and schedule an online appointment for them to witness the signature ‘notarise’ and ‘apostille’ this document:

5. Once the Notary has legalised the document, they will then post this directly to our office in Spain to proceed with the application
6. Should you not choose to proceed with one of the recommended Notary contacts provided above, you will need to post the notarised POA to the following address:
AVASK GLOBAL COMPLIANCE SL
Atn.- Mrs. Nelly Tovar y/o Mr. Fernando Sierra
Calle de Orense 34, Torre SUR, Planta 5, Ofic. AVASK.
Madrid 28020 – Spain.
Ph. +34 910 78 56 83
Please Note: As mentioned previously, we'd recommend proceeding with one of our pre-approved notary contacts to ensure accurateness of the POA prior to this being sent to Spain. From experience, in instances where clients arrange at their end, there are significant problems with the completion of the form, which results in rejection from the Authorities and causes a massive delay and impact to our ability to proceed with ES VAT application
