Uploading Products Label Reviews in Expandly

Overview

As part of our initial compliance checks, our Compliance Team will need to review your current product labels. Following this review, we will issue a report outlining any changes that may be required to ensure your product labels are compliant with EU and UK regulations.

In this guide, we will explain the process for submitting your labels for review, as well as the next steps once a label has been uploaded. 

Before you Start

Please ensure that your products have been uploaded to Expandly. This is a crucial step, as products must be available in the portal before you can select them and upload the required label documentation for review.

Submitting a Product Label for review

1. Log in to your Expandly Portal

2. From the Navigation Pane, click Product Label Review: 

3. On your Product Label Compliance page, click 

4. On your Create Product Label Review page, complete the following:

1. Select Product
   Choose the applicable product from the drop-down list.
2. Select Category
   Select the category that your product falls within (if you are unsure what category your products falls under, please let us know and we can support if needed)
3. Upload File
   Upload a copy of the product label requiring review by clicking the upload button or dragging and dropping the file directly into the portal.
   Please Note: You can only upload 1x label/file per review. Each label you require us to check, must be uploaded seperately. 

5. Once this has been filled in, click  to submit

Managing submitted Product Label Reviews

1. Once submitted, your label review request will be sent to our Compliance Team, who will assess the label and provide a Compliance Report.

2. On your Manage Product Label Reviews page, you can view all submitted labels and their current status:

• Received – Initial checks in progress before being passed to Compliance

• In Review – Currently with our Compliance Team

• Review Complete – Label check finished and report issued

Viewing Product Label Reports

1.  On your Manage Product Label Reviews page, head to the Reports column

2. For any completed label reviews, click on the  icon, to download the Label Report
Please Note: Should the Product Category determined by the Compliance Team during the review, differ from the Category selected when creating the Label Review, this will be indicated within the report and the Category shown on your Manage Product Label Reviews page will also update in line with the report

3. Once downloaded, you can view the Label Report that has been created for your product(s)

Next Steps

1. Once you have received your Label Report, you can proceed to the Responsible Person (RP) stage.

During this part of your compliance journey, you can:

1. Make the required changes outlined in the report
   
2. Upload the amended/compliant label version
   
3. Submit it alongside your RP documentation for final review
